Rev. Lenita Reeves is the senior pastor of Action Chapel Baltimore and Action Chapel North Carolina, prophetic churches under the covering of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, who ordained her into ministry. She continues to raise up leaders in these churches and train them to plant others. She is the founder of the APT Apostolic & Prophetic Women Network, PrayerWatch with Pastor Lenita, School of Intercession 101: Altar vs. Altar, School of Intercession 102: Spiritual Gifts for Targeted Intercession, and has been leading midnight prayer for over a decade. Lenita is a apostolic and prophetic voice and author of nine books thus far including, Fervent Fire: Understanding the Pattern of the Priesthood for Prevailing Intercessory Prayer, and Understanding the Power of Agreement: A Necessary Key for Prayer, Relationships, and Progress.
She has traveled the world to conduct apostolic missions and train leaders in London, Liberia, Jamaica, Haiti, the Bahamas, Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana. She is also the founder of PurposeHouse Publishing, which helps others publish their books and meet their marketing needs.
As an abuse survivor and former teen mom, God has graced Lenita to be an outspoken overcomer, sharing her testimony freely and as a result, seeing captives set free all over the world. She is an international conference speaker and a member of the RAINN speaker’s bureau.
She began her service to the Lord in campus ministry. As Deputy Director of Campus Ministries United, she assisted in planting campus branches and the coordination of an annual conference aimed at bringing various campus ministries together in a night of prayer, praise, and relationship building. In the next phase of her ministry, God taught her the basics of pastoring while serving as a youth minister. She later served as a house prophet, intercessory leader, and assistant pastor, gathering believers for fasting and prayer. Intercession continues to undergird the strong apostolic and prophetic grace on her ministry.
Lenita is a prolific voice but also speaks with transparency, highlighting her highs as well as her lows to show others that God can turn pain into a platform and use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. From senior class president to director in Corporate America to founder of a non-profit and pastor, leadership has been an evident mark of Lenita’s life calling and passions. She has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, a MA in Dance Education from the Ohio State University and a MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park. She attended Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia, which was then under the leadership of Dr. Sam Chand, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Christian Counseling. Lenita was ordained in Action Chapel International in Ghana by Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams and resides in Maryland with her family.
