MED-P (Ministers, Elders, Deacons, and Pastors) Leadership School

It has been said that everything rises and falls on leadership. Indeed, leadership could be the difference between a church thriving or closing its doors—between cared-for and engaged members and those who silently depart and take others with them. Yes, you, the leader, have a role to fulfill. The Church needs the leader in you in these end times. So, more than ever, you need to be equipped to serve in the capacity that God has called you, whether that’s a volunteer lay leader, deacon, minister, elder, or pastor.

The times call for leaders with contemporary perspectives and ancient truths who are prepared to commit to the work of the ministry through crisis and calm and physical and digital spaces. This course includes insights for all church leaders and defines and differentiates the roles of pastors, elders, ministers, and deacons while addressing how Scripture says they should work together. It begins by exploring the leader’s character and motivations–the leader in you. Then, it explores Jesus’ leadership philosophy, the pastor, elder, minister, and deacon roles and responsibilities, and the necessity of understanding the mystery of the faith to be agents of unity and effectively assist with ordinances and member care. Finally, readers will receive skill-building tips for receiving offerings, visitation, cross-cultural team management, and follow-up in physical and digital settings and today’s times.
