We are blessed to serve a God who hears and speaks. He hears our cries when we call, and that is not true of every god. Prophet Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal to call their god, “and the God who answers by fire, he is God,” he said (1 Kings 18:24). They screamed, jumped, and wailed. Still, their god did not answer.
We have been fasted for only six days, and God has heard us, and He has answered with revelation. One night, He revealed people sitting at new boardroom tables. I am confident that He wants us to be elevated, to go higher, during the second half of the years. Let’s hold onto what He revealed, and enforce it in prayer.
Another night, He told us to take the opportunity to fix relationships we had broken. We had humbled our flesh by fasting, and He wanted us to further humble ourselves to set things right with others. This is when we begin to be true Christians–when we humble ourselves as Jesus humbled Himself for us.
And last night. . . Well, as we prayed for America’s protection (for the sake of the righteous), He led us to pray for arsenals to jam. We need Him to expose plots of terror and frustrate devices of destruction. We need God’s mercy on our nation. Last night He revealed that we must declare that the assignment of any beast contending with our glory to be destroyed.
Let’s continue to pray that God would perform that word for America–that planned attacks from Iran would be frustrated and jammed. Let’s continue to pray for God to protect our troops with miraculous deliverances. Let’s also pray for a greater release of His glory in our lives, in Jesus’ name.
